On paper, these are poised to be two of the biggest cultural moments of the year – a 2026 version of Barbenheimer. A fresh Star Wars movie? A brand-new Grand Theft Auto!? It sounds legendary. And while we can be certain GTA 6 will be massive – it already is – the reception for The Mandalorian and his small companion is far less certain.

This reminds me of being a kid and telling my grandmother, Noni, that I would happily eat pizza every single day. I truly believed it! She replied that eventually, I’d grow tired of it. At the time, daily pizza seemed like a dream. But you know what? She was absolutely right. Eating pizza every day is not only unappetizing, but it’s unhealthy – and in the long run, harmful for pizza sellers because after a while, I wouldn’t want to even look at pizza again.
