GTA 5: Military Base and Rhino Revealed

GTA V Military Base Infiltration and Rhino Tank Acquisition Guide

Grand Theft Auto V, despite its age, remains incredibly popular. A key reason is the continuous updates and engaging content. This guide details how to infiltrate the military base at Lago Zancudo and acquire the coveted Rhino tank, along with other valuable vehicles.

Locating Lago Zancudo Military Base

The military base, Lago Zancudo, is situated south of North Chumash beach. The map below shows its precise location. Expect heavy security and perimeter fencing.

Infiltrating Lago Zancudo

Air Infiltration: Approaching by air (helicopter or plane) triggers a two-star wanted level and a warning. Ignoring this escalates to a four-star wanted level and guided missile attacks. Parachuting offers a chance to avoid immediate death.

Ground Infiltration: A fast vehicle allows you to jump over surrounding cliffs or hills. Aim to land between the outer fences undetected. Careful driving can let you circumvent guards. A motorcycle can also be used, but sometimes, a quick drive through the main checkpoint works if the guard isn't attentive.

Acquiring the Rhino Tank

Once inside, locate the Rhino tank patrolling the base. This requires a stealthy approach:

1. Fire a few shots at the Rhino tank, then take cover.
2. Repeat until the driver abandons the vehicle.
3. Eliminate the driver and claim the Rhino tank.

Be warned: Taking the tank immediately grants a four-star wanted level. Seek refuge in a tunnel to evade helicopter attacks.

Additional Military Vehicles

Beyond the Rhino, other valuable vehicles reside within the base:

• Titan chopper
• Buzzard attack chopper
• P-996 LAZER fighter jet

This guide provides a comprehensive strategy for accessing Lago Zancudo and securing its powerful military hardware. Remember to exercise caution and utilize strategic maneuvers to maximize your chances of success.
