Gotham Knights Anticipated for Nintendo Switch 2 Release

A game developer's resume suggests Gotham Knights could be a third-party title launching on the Nintendo Switch 2. Let's delve into this intriguing possibility!

Gotham Knights: Nintendo Switch 2 Bound?

A Resume Reveals a Potential Port

On January 5th, 2025, YouTuber Doctre81 highlighted a game developer's resume hinting at a Gotham Knights port to the Switch 2. The resume, belonging to a former QLOC employee (2018-2023), lists several titles including Mortal Kombat 11 and Tales of Vesperia. Crucially, it mentions Gotham Knights slated for two yet-to-be-released platforms.

No official word has come from Warner Bros. Games or Nintendo, so treat this as speculation. But, considering the current gaming landscape, the Nintendo Switch 2 is the most likely candidate.

A Past ESRB Rating and its Disappearance

Initially released in October 2022 for PS5, Windows, and Xbox Series X, Gotham Knights received an ESRB rating for the original Nintendo Switch, fueling speculation of a release. Some even predicted its appearance in a Nintendo Direct.

Despite the ESRB rating, an official announcement never materialized, and the rating was subsequently removed. This, coupled with the recent YouTube report, keeps the possibility of a Switch 2 release alive.
