Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!

Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, and offers up to four consecutive days of free gameplay across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The campaign commenced on January 9th, 2025, and the 96-hour play timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility requires a previously purchased and registered Square Enix account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended or cancelled due to Terms of Service violations are excluded. Players can verify their eligibility through the Mog Station.

This generous offer coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, featuring new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, including the return of the Hildibrand storyline and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Furthermore, the annual Heavensturn event is currently underway, offering a celebratory minion to all participants until January 16th, and Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series, is slated for January 21st.

Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message confirmed the upcoming releases of Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, along with smaller content updates. He also teased future developments in the Dawntrail main storyline, leaving fans speculating about the narrative's direction.
