FIFA and Konami

Konami and FIFA's surprising esports collaboration: The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024! After years of competition between FIFA and PES, this partnership is a significant development. The FIFAe Virtual World Cup 2024 will be hosted on Konami's eFootball platform.

In-Game Qualifiers Now Live on eFootball!

The tournament features two divisions: Console (PS4 and PS5) and Mobile. Eighteen nations are vying for the final spots: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, England, France, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

Three-stage in-game qualifiers run from October 10th to 20th. National Nomination Phases for the 18 countries follow from October 28th to November 3rd.

The offline final round will conclude in late 2024; Konami will announce the specific date later. Even if your country isn't among the 18, you can still participate in qualifiers through Round 3, earning rewards such as 50 eFootball coins, 30,000 XP, and other bonuses.

The Unexpected FIFA x Konami Partnership

This collaboration is particularly noteworthy given the long-standing rivalry between the two companies. EA's split with FIFA in 2022, following FIFA's demand for a substantial licensing fee increase, paved the way for this unexpected alliance. EA subsequently released EA Sports FC 24 without the FIFA branding.

Download eFootball from the Google Play Store and participate in the current special event to obtain a unique Bruno Fernandes design and an 8x match experience multiplier for faster Dream Team progression.
