Farlight 84 Relaunches Globally With Major Rebrand

Farlight 84 is set for a major transformation on August 7th with a global relaunch. Originally released in 2023, the game is receiving a comprehensive overhaul in its upcoming update, marking the largest update to date.

Farlight 84 Relaunch Delivers a Complete Makeover!

The update introduces a first-person mode to the game, moving beyond the previous third-person perspective. This new view is complemented by enhanced graphics and refined controls.

Another notable feature is the Buddy System, Farlight 84's unique blend of creature collection and combat, which has been entirely revamped in the new version.

The Buddy System 2.0 now features new Buddies and a special tier known as Super Buddies. These companions actively assist during matches with various perks, such as stealing equipment or altering the terrain.

The new map, Nextara, is designed to maximize the existing parkour combat system. Movement has always been a key element, and now players can sprint, vault, and climb across a more vertically oriented battlefield.

A new hero, Kui Dou, joins the roster, adding strategic depth to the 60-player battles. The update also includes a range of new and redesigned weapons, along with a loadout system that supports hundreds of combat configurations.

The relaunch also introduces some entertaining additions. The Rat Cannon, for instance, allows players to launch themselves across the map—an intentionally over-the-top feature that lives up to its name.
