Almost three decades after its initial release, Paul W.S. Anderson's iconic film, *Event Horizon*, is set to expand its universe with a thrilling prequel. IDW Publishing has announced *Event Horizon: Dark Descent*, a gripping five-issue comic series that delves into the chilling events leading up to the film and uncovers the mysterious fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.

Crafted by the talented team of writer Christian Ward, known for his work on *Batman: City of Madness*, and artist Tristan Jones, acclaimed for *Aliens: Defiance*, the series promises a dark and intense journey.
