Dune: Awakening is gearing up for its launch with a thrilling large-scale beta weekend. On April 25, Funcom announced via their official website that they're dedicating a weekend to a global beta test of Dune: Awakening. Alongside this announcement, they unveiled a new trailer showcasing cinematic cutscenes and intriguing story snippets.

The beta test will welcome a vast number of new players and, unlike previous closed betas, will not be under an NDA. This means players can freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online. The official post states, "With access to the first 20 hours of the game and most of Act 1 of the story, you will get a taste of both spice and story."
