Dredge\'s mobile port delayed until next year but a closed beta test is planned for December

by Scarlett Jan 05,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans eagerly awaiting the mobile port of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will need to wait a bit longer. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players become a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly unravels into a terrifying journey filled with strange sea creatures, mysterious entities, and the creeping dread of madness. A nearby island adds another layer of mystery and peril to the already unsettling experience.

Interested in participating in the closed beta? Sign up via this Google Form. While the delay is unfortunate, the numerous awards and critical praise Dredge has received on other platforms suggest the wait will be worthwhile.

ytA Challenging Port

Bringing a game world as rich as Dredge's to mobile is a significant undertaking, making the delay understandable. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing Black Salt Games to gather valuable player feedback and ensure a smooth and enjoyable mobile experience.
