"Doodle Kingdom: Medieval Now Free on Epic Games"

The Epic Games Store, spearheaded by Tim Sweeney, has now expanded to Android globally and iOS within the EU, making its free game offerings a regular treat for users. This week, you can grab Doodle Kingdom: Medieval for free and keep it forever! If you're new to the Doodle series, these games predate the "merge" genre and involve combining elements to create more complex ones. Think of it as Little Alchemy but with a medieval twist, focusing on crafting narrative elements like dragons, peasants, and knights.

Doodle Kingdom: Medieval offers diverse gameplay modes to keep you engaged. In the Genesis mode, you're free to experiment and create new elements. Quest mode challenges you to use specific elements to complete tasks, while Return of the King has you working to restore your kingdom to its former glory. Whether you're a fan of the original Doodle Kingdom or a newcomer, this remastered version is a great way to dive into the action.

My kingdom for a horse! If you recall our coverage of the first Doodle Kingdom, you'll find many familiar elements here. While it might not appeal as much to those who've enjoyed top-tier releases like Super Meat Boy or Knights of the Old Republic, the allure of a free game is undeniable. Now's your chance to play god once more and explore Doodle Kingdom: Medieval.
