Cyberpunk 2077 developer revealed why there is no male V in Fortnite
Cyberpunk 2077 finally arrived in Fortnite! The crossover event thrilled many fans, but the absence of the male version of V, the protagonist, left some disappointed. Speculation ran rampant, but the explanation is surprisingly straightforward.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker for this crossover, explained the choice. The Fortnite bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left only one slot, and with Johnny being male, selecting the female V was a practical solution. Mills also admitted a personal preference for the female version.

Therefore, no grand conspiracy, just a pragmatic decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
