Black and White Kyurem Debut at Pokémon Go Tour: Unova Global Event
If you're a fan of Pokémon GO, you won’t want to miss the upcoming Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global event, where the legendary duo Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will make their grand entrance. These powerful Pokémon bring along exciting new features that can significantly enhance your gameplay experience.
Black Kyurem’s Freeze Shock electrifies the air with a 10-minute icy blast, freezing wild Pokémon in place and making them much easier to capture. For those aiming for precision, White Kyurem’s Ice Burn slows down the target ring during encounters, making it easier to land Excellent Throws—a must-have skill for maximizing your rewards. Both effects can be extended up to two hours per session and up to 24 hours in total.
To fully capitalize on these advantages, consider purchasing the Tour Pass, which provides access to exclusive rewards and boosts the duration of Freeze Shock and Ice Burn. Earn Tour Points by participating in various activities such as catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs. Alternatively, speed up your progress with quick Pass Tasks. Each Major Milestone offers increased Catch XP and extends the duration of the Adventure Effects.
For even greater benefits, opt for the Tour Pass Deluxe, a premium option that grants immediate access to Victini, additional event-themed encounters, an exclusive avatar item, and the new Lucky Trinket. This special item allows you to instantly become Lucky Friends with someone from your Friend List, enhancing future trades.
Defeating either Black Kyurem or White Kyurem awards you with unique rewards based on the version badge you choose: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom). Defeating Black Kyurem grants Reshiram-themed Special Research rewards, while defeating White Kyurem yields Zekrom-themed rewards. Additionally, the Kyurem you encounter afterward will know Glaciate.
Remember, Fusion Energy collected during the event can be used to fuse Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows Glaciate, Freeze Shock, or Ice Burn. However, these moves cannot currently be learned through Charged TMs or Elite Charged TMs.
Don’t forget to redeem the available Pokémon GO codes for extra perks. The event runs from February 24th to March 2nd, so make the most of this opportunity to level up your collection and enjoy the enhanced gameplay experience!
