Black Ops Cold War: Unveiling Buffer Weight Stock for Enhanced Maneuverability in Warfare

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s new Buffer Weight Stock attachment is boosting the power of several weapons, but obtaining and using it isn't straightforward. Here's how to unlock and equip it.

Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock

Unlike most attachments earned through gameplay progression, the Buffer Weight Stock is unlocked via the in-game "Hit List" event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section; the Buffer Weight Stock will be listed there. Since the required community elimination goal has been met, simply viewing this section unlocks the attachment.

Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock

While unlocking is simple, using the Buffer Weight Stock is more limited. It's compatible with only three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This is likely a balancing measure to prevent the attachment's significant accuracy boost from dominating Multiplayer gameplay.

To equip it, navigate to the Gunsmith for one of the compatible weapons. The Buffer Weight Stock is listed under the Stock attachments and can be added to your custom loadout. Once equipped, you can leverage its accuracy advantage to dominate the competition and work towards unlocking further Hit List rewards.
