Bam Margera to Feature in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence

by Brooklyn May 14,2025

Bam Margera's inclusion in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has stirred excitement among fans, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise. Skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley revealed during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast (via Video Games Chronicle) that Bam Margera will indeed be featured in the game. Bagley shared that although the game was "already done," Tony Hawk personally intervened, insisting on Margera's addition despite initial resistance from Activision. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his role in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges, including battles with alcohol and substance abuse, and multiple rehab stints. His recent dismissal from Jackass Forever and the subsequent restraining order issued by Jackass director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats have kept him in the public eye. However, a recent video of Margera skateboarding with Tony Hawk reignited speculation about his involvement in the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game's revival is a testament to its resilience, having been brought back from the brink of cancellation following Activision's merger of previous developer Vicarious Visions with Blizzard.
