Arcane skins are unlikely to return to Fortnite

Fortnite's cosmetic items are highly sought after, with players eagerly anticipating the return of popular skins to the in-game store. Epic Games' rotation system, while providing variety, often results in lengthy waits. While some skins, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence) and even older ones such as Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper, have eventually reappeared, the future of others remains uncertain.

A prime example is the much-requested return of Jinx and Vi from Arcane. Despite significant player demand following the second season's release, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill offered a pessimistic outlook during a recent stream. While acknowledging the decision rests with Riot, he indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season. Although he later expressed willingness to discuss the matter internally, no guarantees were given.

The likelihood of these skins returning seems low. While the potential revenue would benefit Riot, the risk of players migrating from League of Legends to Fortnite due to the skins is a significant concern, particularly given League of Legends' current challenges.

Therefore, while future developments are possible, it's advisable to temper expectations regarding the return of Jinx and Vi.
