Celestial Guardians Expansion Brings Alolan Pokémon to TCG Pocket

Pokémon TCG Pocket launches its Celestial Guardians expansion globally on April 30, 2025, immersing players in the vibrant Alola region, inspired by its radiant Sun and mystical Moon.

What’s Included in the Celestial Guardians Expansion?

The Celestial Guardians expansion introduces two new digital booster packs to Pokémon TCG Pocket, featuring Solgaleo and Lunala as highlights, alongside Lillie and other iconic characters from the Alola era.

Collectors will find this update exciting, with over 200 new cards, including powerful Pokémon ex like Solgaleo ex and Lunala ex. The Alolan starter trio—Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio—also debuts in the Pocket app.

From May 1, players can showcase their collections with a new Rowlet-themed binder cover and display board, adding flair to the Celestial Guardians experience in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

What Events Are Planned?

From April 30 at 06:00 a.m. UTC to May 13 at 05:59 a.m. UTC, players can engage in solo battles to earn new promo cards, including one featuring the legendary Rayquaza ex.

Special missions, running concurrently and extending until May 29 at 05:59 a.m. UTC, offer opportunities to unlock another version of Rayquaza ex, along with accessories and additional rewards.

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Half-Year Celebration begins April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT, just before the expansion’s release, adding to the excitement.

Until May 12, solo battles will reward players with Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters, featuring the new Rayquaza ex promo card. Missions continue through May 28.
