Among Us 3D Launch Imminent: Enjoy Multiplayer Fun Without VR

In 2022, Innersloth transformed the fan experience of Among Us by introducing a virtual reality version that received widespread acclaim. Now, the studio is pushing boundaries once again with the launch of Among Us 3D, a game that reimagines the classic gameplay in a fully immersive first-person perspective, accessible without a VR headset.

Players can anticipate the same beloved core mechanics but tailored for traditional gaming setups. A teaser trailer provides a sneak peek, illustrating how tasks, meetings, and sabotage will be experienced from the character's viewpoint. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore this new mode during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available for testing.

Although no official release date has been set, Among Us 3D is slated to launch first on PC. The game will be optimized for keyboard and mouse controls and feature an updated interface to improve accessibility. Cross-play functionality will enable users of Among Us 3D to collaborate with players on Among Us VR, while the original Among Us will continue to operate independently.

To enhance the player experience further, Innersloth intends to introduce a new in-game currency called Stardust in the coming months. This addition will broaden customization options, allowing players to personalize their avatars and actively participate in the game's ongoing development.
