Samsung introduced a total of six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three models available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs, boasting incremental improvements like new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-tier QN90F features a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and anti-glare coating similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F is Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED TVs - the S95F, S90F, and S85F - come with several incremental upgrades. The flagship S95F model features a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F includes the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for TV models 55" and up. The S85F, the "budget" OLED TV, comes with a Gen 2 processor and is the only model available for purchase now.

2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV

***Not yet released***

The Frame Pro will debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. The Frame Pro features a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through a "One Connect" box that can be discreetly stowed away. The standard The Frame TV will still be available at a lower cost.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D is a refined television with an enhanced interface and a host of new features that add value. While it's pricey, its brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, and built-in gaming features justify the cost.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is fully embracing AI with their "Vision AI" technology for 2025, which can recognize content specifics like actors or settings and display personalized commentary in real-time. More models will also feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for optimized image quality, Active Voice Amplifier Pro for voice enhancement, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Additionally, Samsung is adopting a matte-like anti-glare coating across more TV models, similar to the S95D from 2024, which minimizes reflections without desaturating the image.
