May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Revealed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of new games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, as detailed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post. This month's additions promise a diverse selection of titles for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to be available starting May 20, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences.

Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to nine new titles across the PS4 and PS5 platforms. Among the highlighted games is Sand Land, an action RPG that brings the world of Akira Toriyama's manga to life, offering a unique blend of exploration and combat. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. Notably, an enhanced version of the latter was announced today for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X | S, with a release coinciding with the Game Catalog update. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will receive this Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains to be seen whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the month brings a nostalgic addition with Battle Engine Aquila, a sci-fi action game that lets players control a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and terrestrial combat. This classic title will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
