Sunday School Lessons

Enhance your evangelism and basic Bible teaching with our comprehensive audio-visual lessons, meticulously crafted based on the Sunday School Lessons published by the AIC Sunday School Committee, Juba, Southern Sudan. These lessons have been thoughtfully adapted for broader use by Global Recordings Network Australia, with the gracious permission of the Africa Inland Church, Sudan. They are designed to be used in conjunction with the audio-visual picture books available from Global Recordings Network, serving as an invaluable resource for educators.

These lessons came to life in response to the heartfelt pleas from young individuals tasked with teaching in Sunday School. The accompanying pictures play a crucial role as a vital visual aid, enhancing the learning experience for children.

This app focuses solely on the lesson section of the Sunday School program, with each lesson designed to engage students for about twenty minutes. The remaining time, dedicated to singing, prayer, Bible reading, quizzes, and other activities, is left for teachers to creatively plan. We recommend concluding each lesson with a brief prayer and a song that aligns with the week's teaching. The lessons cater to a diverse age range of children, from 7 to 12 years old.

Initially, teachers meticulously transcribed each lesson into exercise books on a weekly basis, ensuring they remained concise. While some lessons have been expanded, the essence remains a brief yet comprehensive outline that empowers teachers to enrich their preparation.

Each story begins with an aim that guides the teaching focus of that particular lesson. Recognizing the need to tailor the content for children, the lessons do not aim to cover the entirety of God's truth in one go. Instead, they encourage teachers to focus on one or two key truths per lesson, allowing children to gradually build their understanding of God.

The lesson is intended to serve as a guiding tool for teachers, akin to a walking stick, rather than a crutch that does the work for them.
