Schedule I Update 0.3.4: New Pawn Shop, Fancy Items Added
Schedule I developer Tyler has released the highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players, following a brief testing period. The update's details were shared via Steam patch notes, marking a significant milestone for the viral hit drug dealer simulator.
Launched to explosive success on Steam in early access on March 24, Schedule I has captivated players with its unique gameplay. The 0.3.4 update introduces a range of new features, including a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, various wall decorations, and more, enhancing the game's depth and player engagement.
In a heartfelt post on Steam, Tyler apologized for the delay in rolling out the update, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured the community that future updates would be smoother and more timely, with plans for larger monthly updates starting next month.
Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his priorities, focusing on resolving remaining bugs, such as ensuring consistent employee performance, preventing save game corruption, and minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to improve optimization and achieve Steam Deck verification, which will serve as a performance benchmark for the game.

Schedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, surpassing big titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube has propelled it to fame. In the game, players start as small-time dealers and rise to become kingpins, managing drug manufacturing and distribution in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.
Developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, Schedule I's explosive launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
