Application Description

Experience the future of smartphone navigation with Fluid N.G, a gesture-based navigation app inspired by the sleek design concepts of Breccia. Designed for fluidity and ease of use, Fluid N.G replaces traditional navigation buttons with intuitive swipe gestures that make moving through your device feel more natural and modern.

*Please note: This application requires ADB access, root privileges, or a supported device to function properly. Additionally, this app is no longer under active development or maintenance.

Navigation Gestures Overview

Fluid N.G offers two core gesture types—'Quick Swipe' and 'Swipe & Hold'. These can be triggered from either the bottom or side edges of the screen. Side-edge gestures are limited to the lower half of the display, ensuring you can still access in-app side menus without interference.

Available Actions

  • Go Back
  • Return to Home
  • Open Recent Apps
  • Toggle Split Screen Mode
  • Open Notifications Panel
  • Access Power Dialog
  • Launch Quick Settings
  • Open Google Search Overlay
  • Switch Keyboard Input Method
  • Activate Voice Search

  • Custom App Launch
  • Custom Shortcut Activation

Setup Instructions

The app includes a built-in feature to hide the default Android soft navigation keys. However, enabling this functionality requires either root access or using a PC to grant special permissions via ADB (Android Debug Bridge).

Using ADB on PC or Mac

  1. Enable Developer Options in your Android settings.
  2. Turn on USB Debugging mode.
  3. Install and configure ADB on your computer.
  4. Execute the following command to grant the required permission:
adb shell pm grant com.fb.fluid android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

To restore the standard navigation bar, simply disable Fluid N.G or run the following ADB command:

adb shell wm overscan 0,0,0,0

FluidNGPermissionGranter Tool

For Windows users, there's an open-source tool called FluidNGPermissionGranter that simplifies the process of granting necessary permissions to Fluid N.G. You can find it [here].
