Lead an army through time, aiming for global domination a millennium before your own era. But be warned: your primitive adversaries present unexpected challenges! Command a diverse resistance force, uniting hundreds of warriors from various cultures worldwide. Shift seamlessly between individual character control and strategic army-level command. This game expertly blends grand strategy with immersive, interactive battles. And just when victory seems certain, history might repeat itself...

Upgrades & Customization

While primarily free-to-play, optional upgrades enhance your experience. Choose your starting faction and territory size, or engage in custom fantasy battles between any two cultures, deploying as many warriors as your device can handle. You can even edit individual characters (note: the game utilizes up to 1,000 regularly updated characters).

Intuitive Controls

Individual character control utilizes either a classic one-handed system or a dual-wield option for separate hand control. A comprehensive controls guide is available in-game via the pause menu (accessed by tapping the dateline). In-game hints are also provided via scrolls and books.

Switch between controlled team members by tapping their health meter or directly selecting them on the battlefield. Activate "Commander" mode (via bottom-screen arrows) for strategic overview, directing units by swiping from their current location to a target location – be it a new position, an enemy, or an object. Remember, unit actions are based on their individual priorities and capabilities.

Zoom in/out using the standard pinch-to-zoom gesture.

Strategic Map & Gameplay

The main "Campaign" mode involves territorial expansion. Move units between connected areas, fortifying existing territories or conquering rivals. Only 50% of a territory's units are available for movement at any given time, favoring defensive strategies.

Territorial populations grow after each round, incentivizing control of multiple areas. Units also regenerate health over time, encouraging varied location usage each turn.

Performance Considerations

This is my most ambitious game yet, potentially demanding a high-end device for optimal performance. Lowering the "Population" setting reduces on-screen characters, while other display options can be adjusted to improve performance.
