"Optimal FragPunk Settings and Crosshair Codes Revealed"
Many games face optimization issues at launch, which are later addressed through updates. However, *FragPunk* has performed smoothly since its release. While there's always potential for more frames, here's a guide to the best *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes to enhance your gameplay experience.
FragPunk Settings Overview
*FragPunk*'s settings are organized into five tabs. While most of these settings are related to quality-of-life and accessibility, and don't significantly impact performance, some can enhance your gameplay. We'll focus on these settings, leaving the others at default or to your personal taste.
General
The General tab is packed with quality-of-life and personal preference settings. Experiment with these to find what suits you best. Here are some recommended settings, though feel free to adjust according to your preference:
- Automatic Climbing – On
- Automatic Sprint – On
- Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
- FOV Sprint Scaling – On
- Flash Eye Guarding – On
- Keep Player Centered – On
- Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
- Performance Metrics – On
- Ping Visibility – 1
- Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On
This tab also includes options for customizing your crosshair, which we'll discuss later.
Keyboard/Controller
These tabs let you customize your key binds. Since we've enabled Automatic Sprint, the Shift key is now available. It's advisable to bind walking to Shift, similar to other tactical shooters like *VALORANT* and *CS2*.
Sensitivity
Sensitivity settings are highly personal. You can experiment with various sensitivities or use an online calculator to convert settings from other games like *VALORANT* or *CS2*.
Audio
For optimal audio settings, set the Sound Effects volume to a comfortable level and lower the Music, Announcer, and Button Volumes. Enable Character Voice Simplification to reduce unnecessary character banter. Voice Chat settings are up to your personal preference.

FragPunk Best Video Settings
The Video tab is where you'll find the most impactful settings for performance. These are optimized for performance over visuals, which is crucial for a competitive shooter like *FragPunk*. If you have a high-end PC, you might retain some visual quality, but these settings are ideal for most players.
