Unveiled: 'Magic: The Gathering' Reveals Sinister Cards in Race to Death

Aetherdrift, Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, plunges players into a thrilling multiversal death race. We have an exclusive preview of two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck.

Cloudspire Coordinator: This uncommon creature showcases the red-white archetype in Aetherdrift. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond), it focuses on vehicle piloting. Its 3 power allows it to crew vehicles, and its activated ability generates Pilot tokens for additional crewing.

Count on Luck: This rare, 3-mana enchantment embodies straightforward mono-red strategy. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and may play it immediately – a classic "impulse draw" effect.

Finally, we've got a sneak peek at Count on Luck's extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. The First-Place Foils, shiny golden cards, are exclusive to a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with each Aetherdrift box. All rares in the set, plus 10 full-art lands, receive this premium treatment.
