Tiny Pokémon Take Spotlight in Go's Event

The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is almost here! From February 5th to 8th, trainers will have increased odds of encountering extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon. This event also marks the debut of Shiny Nymble!

Prepare for boosted XP – catch Pokémon and earn double the experience points. XXS and XXL Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. Shiny Nymble makes its first appearance, adding a sparkling new addition to your collection.

Keep an eye out for regional variations of Flabébé: Red Flower (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Blue Flower (Asia-Pacific), and Yellow Flower (Americas). Rare White and Orange Flower Flabébé may also appear globally.

Wild encounters will feature increased spawns of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Five-Star Raids will star Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will highlight Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar. Shiny Pokémon may appear in both raids and wild encounters.

2km Eggs will hatch Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't miss the event's Timed Research and Collection Challenge for Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon. Event-themed Pokémon will also appear in PokéStop Showcases.
