My Time At Sandrock offers a rich experience, including the possibility of finding love and building a life with your chosen villager. To take that next step, you'll need to upgrade your home, improve your relationship, and acquire a double bed. Finding the double bed can be tricky, so let's pinpoint the best place to get one.

Where to Buy a Double Bed in My Time at Sandrock

The easiest way to obtain a double bed is from By The Stairs, a shop located on the lower level of town, nestled between the Commerce Guild and the Civil Corpse building. Arvio runs this shop, and the Yakboy Double Bed costs 6,250 Gols (though discounts may be available). This purchase is a crucial step towards marriage in the game.

The double bed requires a 3x5 space and can only be placed indoors. Note that you'll need to buy a second Yakboy Double Bed to complete the "The President and His Wife" side mission. Due to its cost, saving up is essential.

Upgrading and Redecorating the Yakboy Double Bed

While the base Yakboy Double Bed's aesthetics may be somewhat plain, you can customize it. Dyeing it with a single pigment changes its color. Further customization is possible by transforming it into the Starry Double Bed. The required materials are:

  • Starry Night Double Bed Headboard: 3 Hardwood Planks
  • Starry Night Double Bed Mattress and Cover: 4 Wool
  • Mom's Quilts: 4 Wool Cloth, 6 Feathers, 3 Thin Threads
  • Starry Night Footboard: 3 Hardwood Planks, 3 Tanned Leather

Other Double Beds Available in My Time At Sandrock

Currently, only one other double bed is available, accessible through paid DLC. The Elegant Large Bed is included in the Far East Furniture Pack ($3.99 USD). After purchasing and installing the pack, the bed (along with nine other matching furniture items) will be delivered to your in-game mailbox. This bed occupies a 4x5 space and cannot be customized or dyed.
