Fantasian Neo Dimension: The Tachyon Medal Guide

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's "Zero" plan, a catastrophic threat to existence itself. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create an immersive experience.

The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.

Where to Find the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item acquired before the final boss encounter. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, located in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, draining 90% of your health. Prepare Kina for extensive healing, and consider equipping Petrification Null gear to ease the battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Cherryl, utilizing Concentrate and Charge, also inflicts significant damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest on your right—it contains the Tachyon Medal.

How to Use the Tachyon Medal

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main story:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible; one holds the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all three chests activates a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are stronger in NG+, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially for players who completed all side quests beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your journey to save the Human Realm.
