Switzerland and its neighbors join the Ticket to Ride fray! A new expansion introduces country-to-country connections, adding strategic depth to the classic gameplay.

This Switzerland expansion introduces a new way to build your railroad empire: country-to-country routes. Players now connect entire nations, adding a fresh layer of strategic planning to the game. The expansion also includes city-to-country routes, offering varied options for point scoring.

Two new characters and four new tokens enhance the gameplay experience, providing additional choices and challenges. Developer Marmalade Games designed the expansion for both seasoned players and newcomers, encouraging dynamic strategies.

Country-to-country tickets present multiple connection possibilities. For example, a France-to-Germany ticket might offer alternative routes through Italy or Austria, each yielding a different point value. The limited number of nodes per country necessitates careful route planning. City-to-country tickets function similarly, connecting a city to a specified country.

Points are awarded based on the highest-scoring completed connection for each ticket. Failure to complete a connection results in a point deduction based on the ticket's lowest value.
