Lies of P: DLC and Sequel Announced! A Year of Success and What's Next

Director Ji-Won Choi recently penned a heartfelt message to the Lies of P community, celebrating the game's first anniversary and offering exciting teases for the future. The message serves as both a thank you to fans and a preview of upcoming DLC and a sequel.

Expanding the World of Lies of P

Choi expressed gratitude for the game's reception, highlighting the team's dedication to developing the upcoming DLC amidst the Korean summer heat. He promised that the DLC will build upon the base game's strengths while addressing previously reported issues. The goal, he stated, is to "do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow."

The most significant reveal was a piece of concept art depicting P in a snowy location, gazing at a lighthouse. This mysterious setting hints at a new chapter filled with peril. Additionally, a new track from the DLC's soundtrack, "Lisrim" (originally composed in 2022 by onoken), was shared. The accompanying music video further builds anticipation, showcasing a clockwork-weapon wielding character rescuing a captive girl.

DLC Release and Sequel Plans

While a specific release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 earnings report indicates a launch sometime in the second half of 2024. The DLC will join four other NEOWIZ titles:

• Cats & Soup: Malang Town
• Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe
• Project IG

Previously released concept art showcases two additional environments: an imposing industrial complex and a treacherous shipwreck.

Choi concluded his message by assuring fans that their anticipation will be rewarded, and that the DLC is merely the first step in the continued journey of Lies of P, with a full sequel already in development.
