Voltorb (#100, Kanto):

Voltorb is a Kanto-region Electric-type Pokémon. Catching it yields 3 candies and 100 Stardust. It evolves into Electrode using 50 candies. Voltorb boasts a max CP of 1141, with 109 Attack and 111 Defense. Its optimal moveset is Spark and Discharge (5.81 DPS, 40.62 TDO), boosted in rainy weather. Remember, it takes increased damage from Ground-type moves (160%) and reduced damage from Electric, Flying, and Steel-type moves (63%). A blue shiny variant exists.

Hisuian Voltorb (#100, Hisui):

Sharing the same Pokédex number, Hisuian Voltorb is also an Electric-type from the Kanto region. The rewards for catching it are identical to Voltorb. Evolution into Hisuian Electrode also requires 50 candies. Its stats (max CP 1141, 111 Defense, 109 Attack) mirror Voltorb's. However, its type matchups differ: it takes increased damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type moves (160%), and reduced damage from Grass, Steel, and Water-type moves (63%), along with Electric-type moves (39%). Its best moveset is Tackle and Thunderbolt (5.39 DPS, 37.60 TDO), with weather boosts in partly cloudy and rainy conditions. Its shiny form features a black body instead of orange.
