This innovative game has already been nominated for the prestigious independent and arthouse games awards ‘A MAZE. 2025’ in Berlin, showcasing its potential impact in the gaming community.

In Their Shoes Is a Narrative Game that’s More About Listening

Set in the vibrant, yet contradictory city of Milan, *In Their Shoes* offers players the chance to delve into the lives of seven distinct characters. The game unfolds through 49 short, interactive stories, each known as a Moment, providing intimate glimpses into the daily lives of its characters.

Each Moment immerses players in the characters' hesitations, routines, and critical decision-making processes. Some stories unfold leisurely, allowing players to deeply engage with the characters' thoughts, while others demand quick responses, simulating the urgency of real-life situations.

Unlike traditional narrative games, *In Their Shoes* presents a narrative that is deliberately untidy and fragmented. Players will piece together these scattered stories to uncover 26 hidden biographical details about each character, offering a true slice-of-life experience.
