In this game, you will navigate lost souls through the enigmatic realms of the In-Between, a mysterious space between life and death. Guided by an ancient Word Spirit, your journey involves sealing the dreaded In-Between, all while immersed in minimalist visuals and a novel "timeline battle system."

In Lhea and the Word Spirit, players can manipulate the timeline of battles to advance, using a variety of enchanted rings that can be equipped and upgraded. These rings allow for the customization of spells and the unlocking of hidden secrets, crucial for unraveling the mysteries behind the In-Between. Given its roguelite format, each playthrough offers unique challenges with procedurally generated worlds, requiring players to adapt and refine their strategies continually.

“I wanted to create this charming minimalistic world about life and death with the hope that players lose track of time and feel enspirited by this dance between unexpected discoveries, strategy flow and heartwarming music,” says Jo Drolet.
