Legendary Birds Return to Pokémon Go with Dynamax Forms

Get ready for a Legendary Pokémon GO event! From January 20th to February 3rd, the Dynamax forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be available in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots.

Legendary Bird Encounters:

Each legendary bird will have its own week-long appearance:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
• Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd

Each will remain available for a full week after their initial debut.

Legendary Flight Timed Research:

A special Timed Research event, "Legendary Flight," runs concurrently, offering opportunities to catch Pokémon (including Shiny variants!), earn Candy, and collect Max Particles. The schedule (in local time) is as follows:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 17th, 10:00 am – January 20th, 7:00 pm (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 24th, 10:00 am – January 27th, 7:00 pm (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
• Dynamax Moltres: January 31st, 10:00 am – February 3rd, 7:00 pm (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)

Victini Returns with Pokémon GO Tour: Unova:

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova global event offers another exciting opportunity. While in-person participation is limited, all players globally can upgrade their free Tour Pass to a Deluxe Pass for enhanced rewards and faster progression.

A free Tour Pass will be available on February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 am (local time), allowing you to earn Tour Points and rank up for additional rewards until March 2nd, 6:00 pm (local time).

Upgrading to the Deluxe Pass grants immediate access to the Mythical Pokémon Victini and the Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket lets you become Lucky Friends with another player, enabling a Lucky Trade (boosted stats and reduced power-up costs). This Lucky Friend status is one-time use per trade.
