KEMCO's Alphadia III RPG Hits Global Android Market
The highly anticipated Alphadia III has officially launched globally on Android today, marking the latest installment in the renowned Alphadia series. Brought to you by publisher KEMCO and developer EXE CREATE, this game initially debuted in Japan back in October of last year. Dive into the immersive world of Alphadia III and experience its compelling narrative and engaging gameplay.
What’s the Story in Alphadia III?
Set during the Alphadian Year 970, Alphadia III thrusts players into the climactic phase of the Energi War, a monumental struggle over a mysterious life force known as energi. The world is divided among three dominant powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east, each vying for control.
Amidst the chaos, a clone soldier named Alfonso becomes central to the unfolding drama. His life takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of a girl named Tarte, who brings news of a fellow clone's demise. This pivotal moment sets Alfonso on a path that could change the course of the war.
What’s the Gameplay Like?
Alphadia III retains the classic turn-based combat system viewed from a side perspective, all rendered in charming pixel art. The game introduces several systems that enhance the combat experience, including SP Skills that accumulate during battles and can shift the tide when deployed at the right moment.
Another key feature is the Arrays, which are strategic battle formations that players unlock as they progress. These Arrays offer varied approaches to combat, allowing players to adapt to different adversaries effectively.
A unique addition to the series is the Energi Crock, where players can deposit spare items during their travels. Over time, the Crock generates Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for valuable gear and items at special shops.
Throughout the game, players will encounter various groups and factions, such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval and the elite military unit Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. The game also features different energi clone models, including the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
In addition to the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can purchase the full version of the game on the Google Play Store for $7.99. There's also a freemium version available on Android, which includes ads.
