The Follow-Up to Cards, the Universe and Everything Is Here, and It’s All About Monsters
Eerie Worlds: A Tactical CCG Featuring Global Folklore Monsters
Rifts are rarely good news in games, but Avid Games has embraced the chaos in their highly anticipated CCG, Eerie Worlds, the follow-up to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This time, the focus is on monsters – a diverse range of creatures drawn from global mythology and folklore.
Prepare to encounter a visually stunning array of monsters, each meticulously designed and based on real-world horrors.
From Japanese Yokai like Jikininki and Kuchisake-onna to Slavic creatures such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav, the game boasts an impressive roster. Bigfoot, Mothman, the Nandi Bear, El Chupacabra, and countless others populate this terrifying menagerie, each accompanied by detailed, researched descriptions.
Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, creating strategic depth through varied monster properties. Your collection, known as a Grimoire, is upgraded by merging duplicate cards. While starting with 160 basic cards, merging unlocks many more, with additional cards planned for release soon.
Avid Games plans to add two more Hordes in the coming months, ensuring ongoing strategic challenges.
Gameplay involves a nine-card deck (eight monsters, one world card) and nine fast-paced, 30-second turns demanding careful mana management and synergy exploitation. With its rich depth and engaging mechanics, Eerie Worlds is a must-try. Download it now for free on the Google Play Store and the App Store – [link].
