Steve Jackson, creator of the Fighting Fantasy series, partnered with Computerdial to bring the original F.I.S.T. (Fantasy Interactive Scenarios by Telephone) to life. Players used their landlines to navigate a choose-your-own-adventure story via phone prompts – a revolutionary concept for its time.
