Elliot Page Stars in Upcoming Beyond: Two Souls TV Series
Elliot Page, through his production company Pageboy Productions, is set to bring the critically acclaimed video game *Beyond: Two Souls* to the small screen. The story-driven adventure, originally developed by PlayStation and Quantic Dream, is being reimagined as a TV series, with Page at the helm. According to Deadline, the project is in its early stages of development, but the team aims to preserve the game's distinctive non-linear narrative structure. While specific details such as casting and release dates remain under wraps, excitement is building around this ambitious adaptation.
Reflecting on his role in the game, Page shared with Deadline, "Filming Beyond: Two Souls was one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences of my career. The story's rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation. We want to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that resonates with fans and newcomers." This sentiment underscores the project's commitment to honoring the original game's legacy while exploring new avenues for storytelling.

Matt Jordan Smitt, head of development and production at Pageboy, emphasized the team's approach to the project. "We plan to honor the game's legacy while inviting fresh perspectives," he explained. "Delving into questions of survival and how split-second decisions can alter not just our lives, but the lives of others, are key to telling the story." This focus on the game's core themes will be central to the TV series' narrative.
*Beyond: Two Souls*, first released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013 and later ported to PlayStation 4 and PC, tells the story of Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities who communicates with a spirit named Aiden. Directed and written by Quantic Dream's David Cage, the game features a non-linear narrative and was notable for its high-profile cast, including Page and Willem Dafoe.
David Cage expressed his enthusiasm for the TV adaptation, stating, "We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate again with Elliot Page on this project. I was blown away by his acting performance in the game, and I couldn’t think of anyone else to tell this story with the same passion on another medium. *Beyond: Two Souls* is a very special game for millions of players around the world who were moved by the story of Jodie and Aiden, and their journey in life and beyond. I know that Elliot has all the talent and instinct to make it something really unique on TV."
