Surprisingly, some players remain unaware of this essential item. Its late addition to Minecraft means many initially survived without it, relying solely on speed. Now, crafting is straightforward, requiring minimal resources.

You need six wooden planks (easily crafted from logs) and one iron ingot (obtained by mining iron ore and smelting it in a furnace). Arrange the planks in a "Y" shape in your crafting grid, placing the iron ingot in the top-center slot.

Finding a Shield
