Castle Doombad: New Android Game Offers Endless Evil Lair Defense

Castle Doombad is back! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, is ready to unleash your inner villain.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light, Unleash the Light, and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly divided the project, resulting in Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic for PC and consoles. Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, arrives on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay!

Build your ultimate evil lair and fend off heroic do-gooders using traps and minions as your weapons. It's a delightfully wicked twist on the typical tower defense formula.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Unlock and upgrade over 30 traps and collect more than 100 items.

A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with "Baddie Bonus" perks for a personalized villainous experience.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that grant unique powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
