Blizzard Unveils New WoW Housing Details

World of Warcraft's highly anticipated housing system is slated for a 2025 release, with Blizzard unveiling initial details. The developers assure players that homes will be accessible to everyone, regardless of subscription status, and without complicated acquisition processes like high costs or lotteries. This feature is set to debut with the Midnight expansion.

Initially, players can select a plot in one of two regions: Alliance players in a zone blending Elwynn Forest with elements of Westfall and Duskwood; Horde players in a Durotar area incorporating aspects of Azshara and the Durotar coastline.

Each zone will be sectioned into districts, each accommodating approximately 50 homes. Players can choose between open areas or private communities for friends and guild members. Extensive customization options are promised, with most decorations obtainable in-game, and some available through the shop.

Blizzard highlights three core principles guiding the housing system: extensive personalization, social interaction, and enduring appeal. Further details are promised in the future, and player feedback is actively encouraged.
