Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

For those who love diving back into a game with their hard-earned skills and gear on a higher difficulty, New Game Plus is a cherished feature in RPGs. Unfortunately, *Avowed* does not include New Game Plus at launch. However, there's hope on the horizon. Given the community's feedback and enthusiasm, Obsidian might consider adding this feature through a future update or DLC. Even without New Game Plus, *Avowed* is ripe for replaying due to its rich choice-driven narrative and diverse character builds. Starting a fresh save to explore different story paths and character developments could be incredibly rewarding.

*Avowed* is divided into four main regions, with a secret finale area and a return to one of the game's key cities—details we'll keep under wraps for now. These final areas provide a thrilling challenge, yet this doesn't extend to revisiting earlier regions or unlocking new ones. Regrettably, after the credits, you won't see how your choices have reshaped the Living Lands, which can be a letdown.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

Without New Game Plus or robust endgame content, *Avowed's* post-game offerings might feel a bit thin. Once you've completed the final encounter, you'll watch animatic cutscenes that reveal the consequences of your choices on the game's world and characters. After that, you'll be returned to the Main Menu.

From the Main Menu, you have two main options: start a new journey as a different Envoy or reload a previous save. Autosaves from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter are available, allowing you to revisit these sections and make different choices to experience varied story outcomes and endings.

Reloading a save before the point of no return also lets you revisit earlier regions. You can clean up the map, earn achievements, and complete any side quests or collectibles you might have missed. With Legendary Quality weapons and gear, returning to areas like Dawnshore can be a fun romp, as the enemies won't scale to your level.
