DC's Batman once enjoyed a seemingly constant stream of new video game releases. The Dark Knight reigned supreme, and the Rocksteady Arkham series arguably revolutionized superhero gaming, a legacy felt even today.

Lately, however, Batman's video game presence has dwindled. A true solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans eagerly anticipate upcoming superhero titles, those craving a chance to don the cowl will need to explore the back catalog for the best Batman games.
