Atomfall: New Gameplay Trailer Unveils Post-Apocalyptic England

Rebellion Developments' upcoming first-person survival game, Atomfall, plunges players into an alternate 1960s England devastated by nuclear war. A recently released gameplay trailer offers an extended look at the game's core mechanics.

The trailer showcases exploration of diverse environments, including quarantine zones, villages, and research bunkers. Survival hinges on resource scavenging, crafting essential items, and engaging in combat against robotic adversaries and fanatical cultists. Expect a blend of melee and ranged combat, utilizing weapons ranging from a cricket bat to shotguns and rifles – all of which are upgradeable.

Atomfall, initially revealed during Xbox's Summer Game Fest showcase, has generated significant buzz, particularly due to its day-one inclusion in Xbox Game Pass. The game's setting, reminiscent of titles like Fallout and STALKER, promises a compelling post-apocalyptic experience.

The seven-minute trailer highlights crafting options, including healing items, Molotov cocktails, and sticky bombs. A metal detector aids in locating hidden supplies and crafting materials. Players can also enhance their capabilities through unlockable skills categorized into melee, ranged combat, survival, and conditioning.

Atomfall launches March 27th on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, with immediate access via Xbox Game Pass. Rebellion plans to release a further in-depth video soon, so stay tuned to their social media channels for updates.
